The currently configured authentication methods can remain unchanged. For example, if Windows Integrated Authentication is configured as the primary authentication method, it can remain configured this way.<br><br><h3 id="toc-1">Outlook 365 Won't Prompt for Modern Authentication</h3><br><br>Modern authentication (ADAL) with AD <a href="http://boiler.ttoslinux.org/williemays6070">diagnose Office activation conflicts</a> FS requires the /adfs/services/trust/13/windowstransport endpoint to be enabled. But primarily I am guessing you are changing the server name. This does not enable any oauth list entry that may be available for that server. So, it looks like the version of Outlook that I have won_t play nice with Modern Authentication. I have confirmed that on two different PCs that are accessing the same mailbox with the same version of Outlook, which is the latest version from Microsoft included within my Office 365 package. If it continues to be problematic, you may need to either a.) Remove any related credentials from the users credential manager in Control Panel, it b.) Create a new outlook profile. We will never ask you to call or text a phone number or share personal information.<br><br><h3 id="toc-3">Get email updates</h3><br><br>Consider trying this while connected to a wired or wireless network (instead of a cellular network) to increase speeds and avoid hitting data limitations. UO email accounts set up in Mac Mail prior to the Modern Auth update will continue to work, provided the device is running macOS 10.14 or newer. If issues are encountered, it is advised to first re-setup the account in Mac Mail. Removing and re-adding the account using the standard Sign In method will resolve this <a href="https://ashok.websitedemourl.com/read-blog/13695_login-amp-sync-errors-personal-amp-business-microsoft-365-accounts-on-same-devic.html">work offline mode stuck</a> error. My concern is that MS will force modern authentication soon, and switch off basic authentication.<br><br><h2 id="toc-4">Outlook 2021 and Modern Authentication not working</h2><br><br>Create your account and connect with a world of communities. Once I added the AlwaysUseMSOAuthForAutodiscover value, it popped up the modern auth prompt and worked perfectly. I_ve just switched on Modern Authentication in Office 365, following on from Microsoft_s recommendation.
